Computer BIOS as we know is an important feature in computers or laptops as it let you know many features about your pc,it is also important when you want to install windows xp,7,8 or vista from a usb.

In this tutorial i will let you understand the features in BIOS.First you must know the full form of BIOS it is Basic Input and Output System.
Method to open BIOS:Actually there are various methods for opening BIOS and in different machines this method is different for most new machines this method is pressing for several times Delete or F2 when your PC or Laptop is just getting started.For old pc or laptops this method is pressing for several times Escape or F2 or F11 or F4 when your pc or laptop is getting started.

When you have opened BIOS(A blue screen) you will see Main settings in it is System time(Navigation is by four direction arrows and enter) from which you can change your machine time and next is System date-To change your machine's date and next is System Information which tells you about your harddrive,ram.e.t.c.

In Advanced settings there is usb configuration allows you to configure and also block your usb ports which means that pendrives or any such thing will not work used for security reassons in cyber cafes.

 

Next is power settings in which is Hardware Monitor which lets you know your pc's temperature and also your cpu fan speed in RPM but sometimes this thing can be wrong also.

 

now the most important parts for those who wants to install windows from usb.In Boot settings thre is Boot device priority throug which you can change your boot device to usb and so boot yourdevice.Another such thing is security to set supervisor password and user password supervisor password means that whenever you will open your pc you have to give a password.User password is password for boot settings.
